Born a Prince, but died a
King, Armond M. Parker, 22,
passed from this life May 1,
2009. A native of Toledo, he
attended Spring Elementary,
Leverette Jr. High and
Woodward High School; also
a former employee of GM
Powertrain. Armond was a
kind, humorous young man
who loved his children, loved
music and continually was in
the studio creating music and
being active with his family,
often initiating and participating
in the monthly family
game night. His motto: "Live
Life". He was preceded in
death by his maternal grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. Willie
Parker and uncle, Lamont S.
Whitlock.
He leaves to cherish his
memory, mother, Sherry
Lyons; mentor, Shon Phifer;
father, John A. Graves and
step father, John D. Lyons;
fiancee, Shavettelee Crenshaw,
and his two children,
Amontae and Armyiah; inlaws,
Adina and David
Crenshaw; children's Godfather
and brother, Deontae
L. McCorevy; aunts, Sharon
Clay and Rita Parker-
Whitlock, uncle, Delbert Orr;
cousins, Ciera, Andrea,
Capri and a host of loving
family members and special
friends.
Services will be conducted
on Thursday at Noon,
preceded by the Wake at 11
a.m. at Blanchard-Strabler
Funeral Home (1163 W. Sylvania
at Lockwood 419-269-
1111). Burial, Historic
Woodlawn Cemetery. |
