Biography
Elizabeth "Lee" Vieson, 81, of Toledo, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on February 28, 2010, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. Lee was born in Grand Rapids, MI, to Russell and Phillis (Segar) Bolen on August 25, 1928. Lee married the love of her life Gerry on November 12 1954 and spent 38 wonderful years together. They spent those years in both Ohio and California where Lee loved the sunshine at the beach and in the place she loved the most Palm Springs.
Lee was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her step-father, John Daughtrey and loving big brother, Thomas Bolen. Lee leaves behind her son, Steve (Tracy) Vieson of Toledo and daughter, Mary (Rudy) Metoyer of Moreno Valley, CA; grandchildren, Kristen, Geoff, Matt, Jessie, Sarah and great grandson, Benjamin. Also all of the loving nieces and nephews in both St. Louis and California.
We ask that all our family and friends please join us on Friday, March 5th, at the Vieson Home (4422 N. Lockwood) from 6-10 p.m. to share all those special memories of a very wonderful Mom. Special thanks go out to all the wonderful nurses in the CCU at Toledo Hospital and to the staff at Hospice (Chris) for making Mom's last days so comfortable.
