Naja Camille Pickett went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 20, 2010. She was born September 8, 2005, to Nashid and Christina Pickett. Naja was a member of St. Mark's Baptist Church and the Children's Choir. She loved to love. No one was a stranger in her eyes. Naja touched a lot of lives in the time she was here.
She leaves to mourn, her parents, Nashid and Christina Pickett; twin sister, Nadia, her older siblings, Na'Shaela, Brandon, Elijah and DeAnna Pickett; grandparents, Margaret and Roger Ellis, Richard Latimer and James Parker; great-grandparents, Ella and Otha Pickett; Aunts, Sabrina Meyers and Porchia Pickett and a host of loving great-aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother,Pamela Meyers.
Services will be conducted on Monday at Noon at St. Mark's Baptist Church (1419 N. Detroit), preceded by the Wake at 11 AM.
